ENGINEERING COORDINATORSTOKE ON TRENTFULL TIME PERMANENTMON THURS - 7.30 AM 3.45 PM/FRI 7.30 AM 2.45 PMUP TO £30K DOETHE ROLEProviding support, guidance and coordination to the engineering function and services at the siteAssist in the identification, procurement, storage and stock levels of key spare partsSupport the co-ordination and implementation of any capital projects or site improvements works required, including installation and commissioning of new equipmentAssist in the selection of suitable contractors and maintain a database for approved personnelEnsure that the work package of risk assessments and method statements provided by contracting companies are suitable for requirementsOversee management of all contractor engineering activities on plantPlan, coordinate and undertake site inductionsComply with all legal regulations and site procedures including ISO9001, ISO18001 and ISO45001, HASWA and COSHH regulationsAssist in investigations of incidents, accidents and near miss reportsProactively participate in resolving process, equipment, quality and EHS issuesWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORPrevious experience of a similar role within an engineering environmentExperience of contractor management/control would be highly desirablePC literate with good understanding of Microsoft Applications such as Word and ExcelExperience and understanding of Maintenance Management Systems would be preferredGood understanding of Safe Systems of Work, proficient with Permit to Work, risk assessment and method statementsStrong communication skills and ability to cope with workload under pressureGood awareness of Health and Safety practicesDue to hours and location, applicants are advised to have access to their own transport.
