About the Role

As a Brand Specialist within Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) Team of Retail Business Services, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver strategies for managing Amazon AVS vendors. The AVS team seeks a bright, customer-obsessed, driven, and creative candidate to join us. You will interface with leaders from our Retail and Vendor Services teams and be responsible for all aspects of the vendor’s business with Amazon. Your role involves engaging with internal teams to optimize the product line for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.com, working across site merchandising, buying, inventory management, finance, operations, and online marketing to drive vendor performance.

You will focus on strategic and operational management of customer relationships with vendors, creating and analyzing marketing and site merchandising efforts, including campaigns to grow traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue. You will also analyze operational issues and opportunities affecting vendor businesses.


Responsibilities Include

* Measuring success through team performance metrics and vendor impact on customer experience.
* Partnering with the Retail Category Team and managing vendor relationships by advocating for vendor needs at Amazon.
* Building strong communication channels, setting expectations, providing clear updates, and managing growth plans.
* Developing and executing strategic account plans aligned with business KPIs.
* Improving operational aspects of vendors' businesses to enhance customer experience.
* Conducting deep-dive analyses on issues and recommending data-driven solutions.
* Providing thought leadership on planning, roadmaps, and execution.
* Establishing long-term partnerships with key vendors.
* Supporting launches of new programs, categories, and features.
* Conducting regular business reviews with vendors to assess performance and develop action plans.
* Operating in a dynamic environment with full responsibility for achieving objectives.
* Developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
* Demonstrating active listening, being consultative, and solutions-oriented.


Basic Qualifications

* Advanced English proficiency and at least B2 level in Italian (C1 preferred).
* Bachelor's degree required.
* 3+ years of relevant experience in Vendor Management, Sales, Post-Sales, Account Management, or Business Development.
* Proven analytical skills and ability to manage business metrics.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively and focus on results.
* Attention to detail and capacity to handle multiple projects.


Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in retail buying, planning, product management, marketing, or e-commerce.
* Knowledge of SQL and VBA.
* Lean Six Sigma certification.
