About the Role
As a Field Support Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing, coordinating, and supporting the installation and maintenance of gymnastics equipment at customer sites and competition venues. This is a hands‑on, field‑based position with significant travel, where you ensure projects are completed safely, on‑time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
* Plan and support gymnastics equipment installations from start to finish.
* Conduct site visits before, during, and after installation projects.
* Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Technical Support
* Provide on‑site troubleshooting and repair support.
* Ensure all installations meet safety requirements and manufacturer guidelines.
Team Leadership
* Supervise field technicians and subcontractors.
* Deliver training on installation best practices and safety procedures.
Quality & Compliance
* Inspect installations for quality and safety compliance.
* Maintain accurate documentation of all work completed.
Customer Service
* Serve as the main point of contact for clients during installation phases.
* Address customer concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
* Proven experience in field operations, ideally within sports or gymnastics equipment installation.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to lead and motivate field teams.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
Desirable
* Knowledge of BS EN safety standards for sports equipment.
* Experience with CAD drawings or site planning.
* First Aid and Health & Safety certifications.
* Technical understanding of gymnastics apparatus.
