Description
* Ownership of the month-end process, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
* Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
* Leading and coordinating the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors
* Conducting detailed financial analysis, variance reporting
* Overseeing and improving product costing and manufacturing cost controls
* Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
* Ensuring full compliance with internal controls and group reporting standards
* Leading continuous improvements in financial processes and SAP improvement projects
* Management of a small team
Profile
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager in a manufacturing environment
* Strong technical accounting knowledge
* Proficiency in cost accounting and manufacturing finance processes
* Excellent SAP skills
* Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site role
Job Offer
* A competitive salary in the range of £60,000 - £70,000
* A fixed-term contract of 12 months with potential for further opportunities.
