GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Peacehaven. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who wants to create engaging learning experiences and help children develop a lifelong love of learning.
About the Role: As a Primary Teacher, you'll deliver creative lessons across the primary curriculum, working with children in their formative years. You'll create a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported to reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver inspiring lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
* Create a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere that celebrates each child's achievements
* Assess pupil progress and provide meaningful feedback to support development
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
* Build strong relationships with children, parents, and the school community
* Contribute to school events, performances, and educational initiatives
Job Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching in primary settings (KS1/KS2)
* Strong classroom management and behavior management skills
* Creative approach to lesson planning and delivery
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
