Your Role Awaits
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:

Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £45,370 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), with on-target earnings of up to £57,000.

Structured Work Hours: Enjoy a 40-hour work week with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays.
What to Expect
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and the member is expecting you. You’ll carry out:
* Routine servicing
* Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
* In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
* Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection
* Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
With SMR, you won’t be reacting to breakdowns; instead, you’ll deliver planned work with the time, tools, and support you need to excel.

What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
* A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
