In this role, you will ensure that UK legislative data is accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with user needs and global product strategy. You will manage editorial workflows, collaborate with Product and Technology teams, contribute to CMS and tooling improvements, and support the integration of AI and automation. You will also help shape UK content strategy and drive continuous quality and coverage enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary specialist for UK and Ireland legislation, advising teams on authoritative sources, acquisition methods, update cycles, completeness, and jurisdiction‑specific requirements.
* Define content acquisition needs, ensure reliable and high‑quality source coverage, and provide estimates across acquisition, conversion, enhancement, QA, and publication.
* Guide teams on conversion rules, data models, versioning, and publication workflows to meet product and user requirements.
* Develop content strategies for UK jurisdictions, identify opportunities to expand legislative coverage, and support ongoing quality improvements.
* Translate editorial and legislative needs into clear backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria; lead the definition of editorial requirements for CMSs, tools, metadata, and data structures.
* Communicate risks, constraints, and dependencies to stakeholders, and partner with Technology, Product, and GTO teams to optimise tools and workflows, including testing new capabilities and providing structured feedback.
* Support multiple projects while ensuring accuracy and consistency; participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with PMs, BAs, engineers, QA, and regional leadership to align workflows and remove blockers.
Requirements
* Knowledge of law or legislative processes gained through education or relevant experience.
* Experience (typically 5+ years) in legal research, editorial work, content management, or legislative/regulatory analysis.
* Familiarity with agile ways of working and practical experience with AI‑supported tools or workflows.
* Strong understanding of UK legislative frameworks; knowledge of additional jurisdictions is helpful.
* Ability to analyse complex legislative material and communicate clearly to diverse audiences.
* Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills; highly organised and comfortable managing shifting priorities.
