St Mark’s School is seeking to recruit reliable and professional individuals to join our team of Exam Invigilators. This is a vital role within the school, ensuring that our students can sit their examinations in a calm, fair, and secure environment.
The Role
As an Exam Invigilator, you will be responsible for upholding the integrity of the external examination process in accordance with JCQ regulations. Key responsibilities include:
1. Setting up examination rooms and ensuring all JCQ requirements are met.
2. Supervising the orderly entry and conduct of students during exams.
3. Distributing and collecting scripts and examination materials.
4. Assisting with the identification and registration of candidates.
5. Monitoring student behaviour and supporting those with Access Arrangements.
About You
We are looking for candidates who are punctual, observant, and able to remain calm under pressure. You should have:
6. A reasonable standard of education (Level 2/GCSE Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent).
7. The ability to relate well to both young people and adults.
8. Strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
9. The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
