Role
Working within the University of York Estates Asset Management Team, the role provides technical administrative support by working closely with the Engineering, Infrastructure & Maintenance teams and reports to the Asset Manager (Technical Engineer).
The role will include the continuing development of the University’s Estates Management Information System(s). In particular scheduling of Planned Preventative Maintenance activities and maintaining statutory and non-statutory records of equipment and inventory data. The post holder will be responsible for the administration and monitoring of Maintenance Service Contracts and procurement and management of University signage and other specified services.
Skills, Experience & Qualification needed
1. Level 2 qualification or equivalent professional experience.
2. Excellent attention to detail.
3. Knowledge of implementing and development of Work Management Systems.
4. Ability to accurately record, analyse, interpret, and report information/data.
5. Ability to use digital technologies including Google Applications and Microsoft Office.
6. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
7. Ability to organise activities and resources.
8. Evidence of upholding our behaviours as specified in the job description.
