Psychology Graduate - SEND/SEMH Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90–£100 per day

We are seeking a committed and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs. You will play a key role in helping students engage with their learning, build positive relationships, and develop the skills they need to succeed.
What you will be doing:
1. Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
2. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to create supportive routines
3. Using your psychology knowledge to help children manage emotions and behaviour
4. Creating a safe, structured environment where every child can thrive
What we are looking for:
5. A psychology graduate (or similar field) keen to apply knowledge in a practical, rewarding way
6. Someone with empathy, patience, and a calm approach
7. Experience working with children or young people (voluntary or paid) is desirable
8. A genuine interest in SEND, mental health, and child development
