I am partnered with the Head of Execution at one of the world's leading multi strat hedge funds to build their brand new next-generation, ultra-low latency trading platform. It is being engineered for millisecond precision with Java, Aeron, Zero GC, sat directly at the core of the business. You'd drive the design and build out of brand new algorithmic trading engines and scaling the infrastructure across various markets. It's a front-office, high-impact role, directly facing off to the business.
Requirements:
* 4+ years of experience owning the build out of java-based algo trading systems from scratch
* Extensive experience developing efficient and scalable distributed systems/e-trading systems, using low-latency techniques
* Strong skillset with multi-threaded/concurrency programming
* Experience working in the top buyside/trading firms or investment banks
* Exposure to FX, Equities, Options, Credit, Fixed Income etc
* STEM bachelor's degree
