Private Client Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive (2-4 PQE)

I'm recruiting on behalf of a well‑established South West law firm for a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (2-4 years PQE) to join their Sherborne office. The firm is known for its supportive culture, long‑standing client relationships and clear, compassionate approach to private client work.
The role includes:
* Advising on wills, trusts, LPAs and estate administration
* Managing your own caseload from initial instruction to completion
* Drafting clear, high‑quality legal documents
* Communicating with clients in a straightforward, empathetic way
* Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to team development
* Getting involved in business development and community engagement
* Building strong working relationships across the firm
What we're looking for:
* Experience within a private client team
* Strong client‑care skills and the ability to build rapport
* Good organisational skills and confidence managing a varied caseload
* Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
* Willingness to develop BD and networking skills
* A collaborative, team‑focused mindset
