CAD Operator / Designer Join Our Clients Team as a CAD Operator / Designer! Contract Type: Permanent Location: Bromley Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (DOE) About Us A dynamic renewable energy organisation specialising in commercial solar PV, battery storage, and smart energy solutions. As they continue to grow, we are excited to support them in looking for a passionate CAD Operator / Designer to join their technical and design team based in Orpington! The Role Key Responsibilities: Produce and update CAD drawings for commercial solar PV projects Assist in creating technical layouts, schematics, and design packs Support the technical team with comprehensive project documentation Maintain accurate drawing records and manage revisions Liaise with project managers, surveyors, and engineers as needed Ensure all drawings meet our high standards of accuracy and quality Assist with site-specific design amendments and technical coordination Requirements: Previous CAD experience is essential (AutoCAD preferred) Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills Good communication skills for effective team collaboration Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Positive attitude and eagerness to learn Competent in Microsoft Office applications Full UK driving license preferred Ideally, candidates should be local to Orpington or surrounding areas What We Offer: A chance to grow within a developing renewable energy business Hands-on experience with diverse commercial renewable energy projects A supportive and collaborative working environment If you are motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to kickstart your career in technical design and renewable energy, we would love to hear from you!
