Senior Project Engineer Specification and Design Yorkshire £70,000 to £80,000 plus company phone, IT equipment, mileage and travel expenses reimbursed Are you a Senior Project Engineer with strong substation and EHV design experience looking to move into a front end design and planning role with long term project influence? On offer is a specialist opportunity within a forward planning and specification function, shaping major infrastructure projects before they move into delivery. This organisation is responsible for delivering and planning critical electricity network infrastructure across the UK and continues to expand its investment into major substation and EHV assets. In this role, you will lead early stage design, planning and development of EHV plant replacement and connection schemes across multiple voltage levels up to 132kV. This is a great opportunity to move into a specialist design focused role where you can influence major network investment and shape projects from concept through to delivery readiness. The Role * Develop and plan EHV project pipelines from concept to delivery readiness * Produce front end design and specification for substation projects * Work across 11kV to 132kV assets including plant replacement schemes * Coordinate technical requirements across stakeholders * Support transition into delivery teams The Person * Strong background in electricity distribution or transmission engineering * Experience across substation assets and EHV systems * Ability to manage technical design and planning workload * Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred with NEBOSH advantageous BBH: (phone number removed) Please contact Maleek Randley at Rise Technical Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
