Location: Llanelli (SA14)
Salary: GBP30,846 plus 10 shift allowance
This position follows a structured 2‑week day craft pattern designed for balance: Week 1: Sunday – Thursday; Week 2: Monday – Friday.
What You Will Do
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on critical electrical systems.
* Diagnose and repair complex faults in plant equipment and automation systems.
* Work hands‑on with PLCs, digital drives, and AC/DC motors.
* Interpret technical drawings to ensure all work meets high engineering standards.
* Contribute to technical investigations and improvement activities to boost plant performance.
* Uphold rigorous Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate
* An HNC level qualification, typically gained through a craft or modern apprenticeship in electrical/process control engineering.
* Previous experience in a plant or heavy industrial environment.
* A deep understanding of modern electrical systems and safety protocols, paired with strong fault‑finding skills.
* The ability to work independently under pressure and effectively communicate with the wider team.
