What will be your responsibilities: Procurement Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery time, and service. Negotiate orders and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and ensure value for money. Issue purchase orders and monitor inventory levels to ensure timely procurement of goods and services. Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier improvement. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, invoices, and other important data. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, legal) to ensure clear understanding of procurement needs. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards. Manage vendor relationships, evaluate performance, and resolve issues related to quality or delivery. Monitor budgets and support financial planning and reporting Receiving Operations Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing lists to ensure accuracy; Unload, sort, and store materials or products in designated areas within the warehouse; Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with received goods; Maintain accurate records of received shipments in the inventory management system. Shipping Operations Prepare and package goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation; Coordinate with carriers or couriers to schedule pickups; Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure they meet quality and order specifications; Generate shipping documents such as packing lists, transport documents and dangerous goods declarations. Inventory Management Perform inventory counts and cycle checks to ensure accuracy in stock levels; Update the inventory system with real-time data on received and shipped items. Equipment and Safety Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required; Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of goods; Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health and safety standards. Profile and requirements High school diploma or equivalent; Minimum 3 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse, procurement or shipping/receiving role; Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and documentation; Ability to operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment; Dangerous Goods Certification for ADR/IATA will be considered a plus; Strong organizational and time-management skills; Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and records; Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in English, with proven fluency at the C2 level; Team player and strong communication skills; Proficiency in inventory and warehouse management systems is a plus.
