On-site parking Day to Day Duties Working within the production department of a food manufacturing site, you will perform the follow tasks: Working on production line in a hot environment, overseeing the machines and efficiently running the production line. Packing to meet product specifications and doing quality checks. Responding to problems with machines and product – reporting to the supervisor. Completing all relevant paperwork whilst maintaining high safety standards. To maintain a safe, clean and well organised working environment within the framework of current H&S and Food Safety standards. Set up and operate bagging machines, bag sealers, check weighers, Metal Detectors and basket fillers as necessary including HACCP points. Monitor the quality of all products ex-Oven against current standards and recording of all information (weight, temperature etc.). Ensure that all equipment and machinery is a) safe to operate and b) operating as it should do, taking action to remedy any issues through comm. Essential Skills English level must be communicative. PPE required - Safety boots & hi-vis. 6 months experience required on one of the below: Bakery Production. Food Manufacturing experience. Manufacturing in factory environment experience. Machine operating experience. Desirable Experience Good communication skills and attitude. Good level of numeracy skills. Flexible. Food Safety and Health and Safety knowledge.
