A newly-created FP&A role in a growing Worcester business. This is a number 2 role to the Head of FP&A, collaborating with the senior leadership team, providing high-quality financial reporting and analysis, and driving strategic initiatives. The employer offers flexibility with 3 days WFH.
Key responsibilities
1. Partnering with senior leadership across departments to understand financial needs
2. Offering insights and recommendations based on financial analysis
3. Leading cross-functional meetings on financial performance and strategy
4. Ownership of monthly reporting to the Board
5. Developing and maintaining financial models for planning and decision-making
6. Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
7. Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
8. Identifying process improvements in FP&A activities
9. Supporting projects with financial analysis
10. Developing business cases for investments
Candidate profile
1. Qualified accountant with experience in FP&A
2. Proficient in producing complex financial reports
3. Strong Excel skills
4. Effective communicator of financial information
5. Commercial mindset with ability to explain finance to non-finance colleagues
6. Critical thinking to evaluate opportunities and risks
