About the role

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Retention Improvement Officer to join our Pastoral Support team. In this role, you will monitor attendance data, identify patterns or concerns, and work closely with students, parents/carers, and staff to improve attendance and retention. Your work will directly contribute to improving student outcomes and ensuring every learner has the opportunity to succeed. We are seeking someone who is organized, approachable, and committed to helping students succeed, with excellent communication and data management skills and a flexible approach to working across teams.

Responsibilities

* Monitor attendance data and identify patterns or concerns.
* Collaborate with students, parents/carers and staff to develop and implement attendance improvement strategies.
* Support student engagement and retention initiatives to promote positive outcomes.

* Proactive, organized and approachable with excellent communication skills.
* Strong data management abilities and a confident, flexible approach to cross-team work.
