We are looking for a commercially focusedProcurement Specialist to join ourSystems and Textiles Sourcing team as an Account Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in sourcing complex engineering products and services across a global supplier base.
The Role
Working within the Systems and Textiles team, you will lead end‑to‑end procurement activities, managing supplier relationships and supporting the delivery of critical components and materials. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions across key manufacturing programmes.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing end-to-end procurement and sourcing across engineering categories
* Leading RFQs, tenders, and supplier negotiations to achieve best value
* Developing supplier performance, managing risk, and driving continuous improvement
* Partnering with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Programme teams
* Supporting bid activity and customer delivery commitments
* Maintaining supplier, cost, and lead-time data within SAP
* Ensuring compliance with export control and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in procurement, buying, or strategic sourcing within engineering or manufacturing
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications (desirable)
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)
* Knowledge of UK and international trade compliance (desirable)
Qualifications
* Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
* CIPS (or equivalent) qualification is advantageous
