Company Overview
Your new company is a highly ambitious manufacturing SME based in Oldham. Established for over 50 years, they are looking to recruit a Company Accountant to support their long-standing Financial Controller in running their small but high-performing finance function.
Your New Role
As Finance Manager, you will manage all aspects of the finance function, including but not limited to: production of management accounts, bank reconciliations, currency transactions, overseeing and assisting the payroll specialist with the monthly payroll for multiple companies, including payroll budgeting, R&D claims, and statutory payroll requirements.
What You'll Need to Succeed
You should be ACCA/CIMA qualified or QBE with experience working within an owner-managed SME. You will have a very hands-on approach to accounting and be willing to go above and beyond to get the job done. Experience in preparing management accounts and managing payroll for an SME with over 100 staff is essential. You should function well in a small, quiet office environment.
