Risk Manager
Location: Ryde / Hybrid
Full-Time | 12 Month Contract
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to partner with a key business unit, providing expert advice and support on all aspects of risk management. This role will ensure business-related risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and remediated effectively, while working closely with senior leaders to support performance objectives within established risk tolerances and regulatory requirements.
With exposure to senior executives and enterprise-level risk forums, this is a pivotal opportunity for a risk professional who thrives in complex environments and is motivated to drive strong governance, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Business Unit leadership team to embed the organisations Risk Management Framework.
2. Lead and support risk assessments, ensuring effective controls are designed, implemented, and tested.
3. Partner with stakeholders to align business processes with best-practice risk management and compliance.
4. Maintain accurate and transparent risk registers, providing insightful reporting to executive and enterprise-level stakeholders.
5. Oversee remediation of control failures, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
6. Analyse data and provide reporting into emerging risks, trends, and exceptions.
7. Support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policy obligations.
8. Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen processes, systems, and controls.
