Description
As a Utility Surveyor, using your technical expertise, you will deliver a first-class service to our customers with safety being paramount. Your role will be to identify, evaluate, and quantify work required to maintain contract safety clearances from overhead electrical networks.
This position is within our arboriculture and vegetation management division, known for safe and efficient service delivery. Operating across the Midlands and South East from Ledbury and Hermitage, we manage numerous strategic, long-term contracts.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand relevant industry legislation and safety guidelines related to arboricultural work.
* Conduct site-specific risk assessments with robust emergency procedures.
* Prepare work packs aligned with contract specifications for operational arborists.
* Liaise with private landowners and stakeholders to gain work permissions.
* Identify and understand safety zones and associated dangers.
* Ensure safety for yourself and others on site.
* Coach and mentor junior team members.
* Collaborate with the wider team to track and complete work per client requirements.
* Work autonomously with a focus on delivering professional, first-class service.
Experience and Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years’ arboriculture experience.
* Hold UA1, UA2.1, and UA5 qualifications.
* Additional competencies are advantageous.
