Pre-Press Mac Operator/Account Handler, Birmingham, £23-27k + Benefits
With a portfolio full of household name accounts, my client is an established and successful Birmingham based Digital Print and Production Company who has built a reputation on meeting and exceeding client expectations. Due to continued business growth they are now seeking a Pre-Press Mac Operator to further compliment their existing team.
Although Pre-Press will be at the forefront of this opportunity the successful Mac Operator will also be involved in liaising with clients and operating small and large format digital printers to produce a variety of printed material.
Working within a busy Studio and Manufacturing environment, responsibilities will consisted of:
* Creating and amending mainly large format artwork and making sure everything is ready for production.
* Ensure all work complies to branding guidelines and fully meets the brief.
* Colour matching
* Producing marketing literature.
* Liaising with clients with regards to new briefs and work in progress.
* Potentially assisting with management of the company’s Social Media.
Requirements:
* Fully Mac literate - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe software.
* Conversant with standard PC based office software.
* Ideally have a working knowledge of 3D software for CAD engineering to create FSDUs etc.
* Ability to work as part of team and assist in other areas of the business as and when required.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure and schedule work accordingly.
Office based Monday to Friday 9-5.30 (occasional overtime during the week, during busy periods you may also be required to work the odd weekend).
You must be UK based and live within a commutable distance of the where the position is located. Sponsorship is not available so you will need to have full leave to remain.
