As the Global Head of Solutions Consulting, you willbe responsible forshaping and delivering the globalpre‑salesand solutions consulting strategy across the Workday Products business. You will build and lead ahigh‑performingglobal Solutions Consulting organisation that strengthensvalue‑basedselling, improves win rates, and drives predictable revenue growth. You will work closely with Sales, Product, Delivery, Marketing, Commercial, and our Workday ecosystem partners to ensure ourpre‑salescapability isworld‑class, scalable, and aligned to customer outcomes.
This role requires a blend of commercial leadership, technical understanding, strategic thinking, and strong people leadership. You will transform Solutions Consulting from a technical support function into a strategic revenue engine, embedding consistent globalmethodology, value engineering, andhigh‑qualitycustomer engagement across all regions.
You will collaborate with regional leaders across AMER, EMEA, and APJ, ensuring our global operating model, processes, and assets are aligned, repeatable, and continuously improving.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Building and Leading aHigh‑PerformanceGlobal Solutions Consulting Organisation
1. Define and implement the global Solutions Consulting strategy and operating model.
2. Lead, coach, and develop regional SC leaders, creating a strong global leadership community.
3. Building and leading a high performing, multi-time zoneteamas well ascoaching andinfluencingsenior leaders.
4. Establish clear role definitions, career paths, and competency frameworks for all SC roles.
5. Build aperformance‑drivenculture focused on measurable revenue impact, quality, and customer value.
6. Scale the team in line with business growth targets and market demand.
Driving Revenue Impact and Sales Success
7. Partner with Sales leadership to influence strategic deals and improve win rates across all regions.
8. Establish a consistent deal qualification and SC engagement model.
9. Embedvalue‑basedselling, ROI modelling, and business case development into the sales cycle.
10. Own the technical win strategy for key opportunities, ensuring alignment with customer outcomes.
11. Support expansion, renewal, andcross‑sellopportunities through strong value narratives.
Standardising GlobalPre‑SalesMethodology
12. Create andmaintaina consistent global approach to discovery, solution design, and storytelling.
13. Standardise demos, proof strategies, and POC governance across all regions.
14. Build andmaintainreusable assets, demo environments, and a global SC playbook.
15. Ensure all methodologies are scalable, repeatable, and aligned with Kainos delivery standards.
Elevating Value Engineering and Customer Outcomes
16. Embed value engineering capability across the SC organisation.
17. Ensure solutions are aligned to customer outcomes, adoption, andlong‑termvalue realisation.
18. Partner with Customer Success to support value tracking and expansion opportunities.
19. Strengthen our ability to articulate business impact, not just product capability.
Strengthening Workday and Partner Alignment
20. Align solution messaging and positioning with the Workday ecosystem.
21. Build strong relationships with Workday industry and sales teams globally.
22. Support partner‑led pipeline creation and joint solution development.
23. Develop repeatable alliance‑aligned solution packages that enhance market differentiation.
Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
24. Define and track key performance metrics including win rate, deal cycle time, SC utilisation, technical win rate, and pipeline influence.
25. Drive continuous improvement throughdata‑driveninsights, lessons learned, and feedback loops.
26. Ensure global consistency in SC execution, governance, and quality.
27. Maintain visibility of SC capacity, capability, and delivery health across all regions.
Minimum essential requirements:
28. Significant experiencein Solutions Consulting,Pre‑Sales, or Value Engineering leadership within enterprise software or SaaS.
29. Proven experience leading global ormulti‑regionpre‑salesorganisations.
30. Strong commercial awareness witha track recordof influencing revenue outcomes.
31. Strong understanding of enterprise solution architecture and customer business drivers.
32. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly atC‑level.
33. Experience embeddingvalue‑basedselling and business case development.
34. Excellent stakeholder management andrelationship‑buildingskills across Sales, Product, Delivery, andPartners.
Desirable:
35. Experience within the Workday ecosystem (not essential butadvantageous).
36. Experience scaling SaaSpre‑salesteams inhigh‑growthenvironments.
37. Knowledge of SaaS delivery methodologies and enterprise technology trends.
38. Experience developing global operating models and scalable frameworks.
39. Strong executive storytelling and demo capability.
