Global BIM Director / Programme Lead (ISO 19650)Outside IR35 6+ Month Contract (+ Extension)Fully Remote (UK) - Ideally Commutable to CambridgeHighly Competitive Day RateImmediate StartThis is a rare opportunity to step into a global leadership role driving BIM governance and digital asset strategy for a multinational engineering organisation.
We are seeking a senior BIM Director / Global Process Owner to take full ownership of the organisation's BIM framework, aligned to ISO 19650 and international best practice. This is a business-critical appointment focused on governance, programme leadership, adoption, and global rollout.
You will define standards, influence senior stakeholders, and lead the transformation of how digital product assets are created, managed, and deployed across international markets.The Role
* Executive ownership of the global BIM process and ISO 19650 compliance
* Lead enterprise-wide BIM governance, policy, and digital asset strategy
* Drive global rollout, adoption, and capability development
* Report directly to senior leadership on performance, risk, and commercial impact
* Lead a global BIM Centre of Excellence
* Act as a strategic change agent across a complex matrix organisation
* Oversee stakeholder engagement across Engineering, Commercial, I,T and Regional teams
The Person
* Senior BIM Leader / BIM Director / Programme Manager / Architectural Lead
* Deep expertise in ISO 19650 and international BIM frameworks
* Proven experience leading BIM transformation within construction/engineering
* Strong programme ownership, governance, and stakeholder management background
* Experienced in operating at the executive and global leadership level
* Able to influence, implement, and deliver change at scale
