Full Time Nurse at Hollybush House – £22.21 per hour
Shaw healthcare is looking for a Nurse to join the team in Hollybush, Stourbridge.
About the Service
Hollybush House is a 24‑bed nursing home in Stourbridge. The home comprises two units: an eight‑bed Continuing Care unit for people living with dementia who require a high level of nursing care, and a 16‑bed short‑stay Intermediate Care unit providing step‑down, hospital‑avoidance and respite care for people living with dementia.
Key Duties
* Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents’ needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life
* Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; develop, review, and update care plans to meet residents’ physical, social and psychological needs
* Oversee all aspects of medicine management on the shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored, and administered in accordance with company policies and current legislation
* Liaise professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders to build the business’s positive reputation
* Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best‑practice guidelines; identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively
* Support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times
Preferred Skills & Experience
* Ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements
* Excellent communication skills and ability to develop professional relationships
* Proficiency in IT and communication systems required for the role
* Respectful of the values, views and needs of others
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
* Experience delivering nursing care within the elderly health care sector
* Experience participating in quality and clinical governance programmes

Salary
£22.21 per hour.
Working Hours
Full time – 48 hours. Mixture of days and nights, 12‑hour shifts.
