Role Overview
Working in partnership with an Expert by Experience Co‑Trainer, the Facilitator Trainer leads sessions, guides discussion, and ensures the content is delivered to the required national standard. The role focuses on creating a safe, engaging learning environment that improves understanding, challenges attitudes, and promotes high‑quality, person‑centred support for people with learning disabilities and autistic people.
Responsibilities
* Leads sessions, guides discussion, and delivers the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism.
* Facilitates discussions and learning activities in a safe, inclusive environment.
* Manages session logistics and ensures national quality standards are met.
* Promotes values of dignity, respect, and person‑centred practice throughout the training.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Successful applicants must provide details of two referees; one must be the most recent employer or an accepted reference from voluntary work, educational facility, or personal reference.
* Applicants must undertake an enhanced DBS Disclosure and provide proof of right to work in the UK.
