Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges.

As a full-service global freight forwarder and contract logistics provider, we help our clients manage the warehouse and transportation needs of their supply chain so they can focus on their business.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Client Facing Role that manages the overall business relationship
2. Account mapping, business unit breakdown (touchpoints to align regional/global team)
3. Run QBRs & ensure they are properly prepared for
4. Ensure each Crane Worldwide office servicing the account understands the SOPs and executes accordingly
5. Report Creation / Monitoring / Distribution (responsible/accountable)
6. Performance management (responsible/accountable)
7. Market Analysis / Industry Awareness
8. Drives collaborative efforts internally by supporting and sharing best practices in the following key areas:
Client Reviews Value add Programs Tender Management Strategic Business Plans Process Improvements Technology Solutions
9. Impact & coverage analysis -> identify service or opportunity gaps
10. Penetrate organizational structure and develop relationship beyond main points of contact
11. Maintain rates and assess yields monthly
12. Monitor account for timely payments and assist with collections on past due invoices
13. Enter all meeting notes, action items, complaints, compliments into our CRM and distribute to appropriate people in global network
14. When necessary, travel within region to visit accounts/account sites and Crane Worldwide offices to review procedures and maintain customer information/satisfaction
15. Ensure all company policies and regulatory requirements are adhered to
16. Identify growth opportunities and develop a strategy to secure opportunities with the appropriate internal resources
17. Create a business development plan with short- and long-term business objectives, initiatives, and quantified value-added contribution
18. Other duties as assigned

Education and Direct Work Experience:

38. College degree preferred
39. 3-5 years successful sales or account management or operations experience in freight forwarding, logistics and or transportation industry
40. Experience with CRM systems

Certifications and Licences:

41. Professional certification may be required in some areas
