This opportunity is with a trusted multidisciplinary consultancy. The successful candidate will lead flood risk, drainage and environmental impact assessment projects across the Midlands.

Responsibilities
* Managing preparation, amendment and submission of technical documents (tenders, Flood Risk Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments, Drainage Assessment Reports, calculations and models).
* Identifying business development opportunities and proactively working to win new projects.
* Managing client and stakeholder relations across public and private sectors.
* Leading people and projects at all stages of the process, from initial inception through to successful delivery, adhering to budgetary, resourcing and timeframe restrictions.
* Adhering to industry standards, procedures and guidelines, including strict health and safety regulations.
* Overseeing colleagues’ Continuing Professional Development (CPD) within the company.
Required Skills and Experience
* A Degree in Hydrology, Civil Engineering or a similar relevant discipline.
* Chartership status with a recognised professional body (e.g., CIWEM).
* Demonstrable design experience in a UK-based consultancy or local authority setting.
* Excellent working knowledge of relevant software packages (Flood Modeller, AutoCAD, WinDES, WINFAP, HEC‑RAS, FEH, etc.).
* Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Extensive experience liaising with clients and stakeholders across public and private sectors.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* A Masters or higher qualification in a relevant discipline.
* Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Full, valid UK driving licence.
