Opportunities exist for Site Agents with a proven ability to deliver large infrastructure projects for Tier one UK Contractors. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be expected to provide management, leadership and control of a multi-disciplinary team comprising Sub Agents, Section Engineers, Site Engineers and Foremen. Must be proficient in the delivery of heavy Reinforced concrete structures, major earthworks, large scale drainage and utilities, as found on major civil engineering projects like power stations, nuclear, MOD, HS2, etc Duties will include Planning and programming of the works Monitoring and implementing the financial controls and cost reports Management and monitoring of Sub Agents, Section Engineers and the delivery team Collaborate with the client, their representatives, the Designers and numerous subcontractors Set targets and KPI’s in line with key outputs and monitors performance Prepare cost plans and manage the spend Management of plant, materials and subcontractors Liaise and chair client/project meetings Oversee daily administration, quality, audits, permits and records Produce progress reports. Oversee the setting out and as well as the as-builts Implement company procedures and protocols Compilation of Method statements and risk assessments Resolve technical issues whilst implementing the design Ensure Health and Safety compliance Requirements for this post include Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineer or similar, CSCS, SMSTS Professional accreditation or working toward it Extensive experience delivering major infrastructure works for a tier one UK contractor.
