Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a supportive and inclusive school in the beautiful town of Leamington Spa to appoint a science teacher on a full time basis for the new academic year.
You will be responsible for the full planning and marking of lessons, full assessment responsibilities and the general overall smooth running of the classroom.
You will also be expected to contribute to the wider school community where you can, the school has a family feel where everyone "chips in" to support one another.
Our ideal candidate will:
- hold a UK QTS for Science (or equivalent qualification)
- has recent, positive experience teaching Science in a UK based secondary school
- have excellent school based references
- have strong behaviour management skills and a great classroom presence
- have excellent subject knowledge and be confident teaching across all 3 science specialisms
The role entails:
-planning and delivering engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3-5
- regularly assessing pupil progress, providing insightful feedback
- differentiating lessons to suit the individual needs within each class
- creating a positive and stimulating learning environment where all children can thrive
