Support the Facilities Coordinator/Hotel Services Assistant Manager in the delivery of efficient and effective operational services across the service and contribute to the achievement of Statutory Compliance within their area of responsibility.
We currently have an opportunity in our Domestic Services Department based in Glan Clwyd Hospital.
Job Details
* Hours: 21 hours per week
* Contract: Permanent
* Working Pattern: 3 days per week
* Working Hours Covered: Between 06:00 and 23:30
* Includes: Weekends and Bank Holidays
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and organise day-to-day activities of the operational staff within the department.
* Provide the best quality cleaning services to the environment within the Health Board’s premises, sharing lean practices with others and adapting services as needs change.
* Supervise, train and audit cleaning processes with Domestic Assistants in a variety of areas from very high risk to low risk, using National Standards of Cleanliness to manage audit lead times.
* Monitor and sustain best cleaning practices and ensure that self and others meet the required standard.
* Travel to Community Hospitals and Clinics from the Llandudno Hospital base.
* Maintain satisfactory cleaning standards in accordance with operational protocols and cleaning frequencies.
Qualifications
* Experience of cleaning; experience within the cleaning industry or as a supervisor is beneficial.
* Ability to organise and prioritise own workload.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Good communication skills.
* Willingness to learn new skills.
* Ability to be flexible around working hours and able to work the hours as stated.
* A willingness to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
