Job Title: Deputy Manager – NEW Assessment Home
Location: Whiteparish, Salisbury (SP5 2SJ)
Salary: £16.90 per hour
Overtime Rate: £5 per hour
Sleep-ins: £65 per sleep-in
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 160 hours per month
Employment Type: Permanent
Service: NEW Assessment Home
Number of Beds: 3
Service Users: Children aged 8–17 years with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
Qualifications and Experience
* Level 3 Children & Young People’s Workforce
* Experience within Children’s Residential, Mental Health, or Secure Unit settings
Responsibilities
* Support the Registered Manager in the day‑to‑day leadership and operation of the home.
* Ensure high standards of care, support staff development, and maintain a safe, structured environment for young people.
* Contribute to care planning, risk management, safeguarding practices, and overall development of the service, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and regulations.
