We are looking for confident, well-motivated, reliable and pro-active individuals to support and manage the administrative team across the service. This would be working across Radiology Services based at both the QMC and City Campus. The role includes the opportunity to work closely with the administrative processes within the service. Excellent communication skills with proven experience of managing a team. They will have the ability to deal with sensitive situations and conflict in a diplomatic and tactful manner. Having experience of recruitment and sickness management is essential alongside the ability to coordinate and motivate staff to ensure a consistent standard is delivered. Main duties of the job Leadership • Line management of the administrative and clerical staff including staff recruitment, training and development. • To contribute to the delivery of ambitious targets by supporting the senior management team to continually improve performance within the service • To provide operational expertise and management support to all members of the service including staffing costs and budget allocation to modality. • Manage appraisals and mandatory training compliance whilst maintaining an efficient filing system. • To provide cover and management support to all members of the admin team in the absence of co-deputy administration service managers • To provide personal administrative support to the Assistant General Manager and Lead Speciality Clinicians as required Working for our organisation As a large acute teaching hospital, NUH has a range of fantastic opportunities for staff to develop their careers.
