Location: Pharmacy Team, Aberdeen City HSCP.
Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) invites applications for a Primary Care Pharmacist with a background in primary care, community or hospital pharmacy. The successful candidate will join our team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and contribute to the ongoing provision and innovation of the pharmacotherapy service across Aberdeen City.
Key responsibilities include working as a pharmacist across GP practice(s) covering all aspects of medicines management and pharmacotherapy to ensure safe, appropriate and cost‑effective use of medicines in line with local and national guidelines, supporting practices remotely, undertaking medicines reconciliation, Medicines Care & Review, responding to pharmaceutical queries including management of shortages, and promoting quality, cost‑effective prescribing.

Candidates may already be an independent prescriber (IP) or be in the process of completing this qualification; support will be provided to complete it. Those not currently undertaking the IP course will be encouraged to do so at a suitable point.
