What You’ll Be Doing: Providing 1:1 and small group support to KS3 and KS4 students with SEMH needs Building strong, trusting relationships to help students feel valued and supported Working with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to implement behaviour plans Using restorative and therapeutic approaches to manage challenging behaviours Supporting students with complex needs like autism and communication difficulties Acting as a mentor, guiding students through emotional and academic challenges What We’re Looking For: Experience in pastoral care, behaviour support, or mental health (preferred) Ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate effectively Strong skills in building positive relationships with vulnerable children A genuine passion for inclusion and promoting mental wellbeing Someone who stays composed in a crisis and can “read the room” An understanding that every behaviour has a story behind it A commitment to making a real difference for young people needing another chance What you’ll need to join us: A DBS on the update service (or be happy to get one through us) Two professional references from the last three years A big heart, strong boundaries, and a commitment to safeguarding Why Protocol Education?
