Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar & Manager to oversee our bar & restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. This role involves managing the bar/restaurant staff, maintaining high standards of food safety and production, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
Duties
* Supervise and manage bar/ restaurant staff, ensuring effective team management and performance. Manage staff rotas, payroll submission & overall cost control related to staff & operations.
* Manage the venues day to day operations
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food production, licencing laws, health, hygiene & safety policies across all venue operations.
* Train new staff in hospitality practices, serving techniques, and menu knowledge. Drive staff training, ensuring that all team members understand safety protocols, cash procedures, GDPR and other relevant legal requirements
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative drink pairings and menu items.
* Maintain inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
* Organise events or promotions to attract new customers and increase bar revenue.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
* Excellent & strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
* Previous experience in bar/ restaurant management is advantageous.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
