Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a Secondary school located in Middlewich who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to start in September. The school is in an excellent location with great transport links between Crewe and Sandbach. They are looking for an individual who is confident in providing general support across KS3 and KS4.
About the role:
* Start- date: 1st September
* Full-time vacancy
* Opportunity to earn between £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils who require additional support for learning and behaviour. This will include 1-1 and small group support with students, providing intervention in core subjects within the schools SEN department. You will also create and implement individualised learning plans, ensuring the national curriculum remains accessible to all students. Additionally, you will provide progress updates on these pupils to members of SLT and parents/careers.
Requirements:
* Teaching Assistant qualification/equivalent experience is required for this role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both students and colleagues
* Good knowledge of behaviour management techniques
* Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for improving the lives of young students
