As a team member in our Warehouse, you will be an integral part of a fast moving department ensuring the correct products are picked, packed and shipped for our customers quickly and safely
You will be supporting the rest of your team throughout the day in a wide variety of activities related to the successful running of the operation- ready to "jump in" and support everyone as and when needed.
To be successful in this role, you'll be perfectly comfortable working as part of a team, happy to use your initiative whilst also following the direction of your Supervisors when required. An eye for detail in this role is an absolute must
You will be comfortable adhering to company SHE (Safety, Health, Environmental) policies and procedures, and ensure all warehouse KPIs are hit daily, including daily OTIF, stock accuracy and pick and dispatch rates.
**The shift pattern for this role is 8am - 4.30pm**
Key responsibilities
* Picking and packing worktops for daily dispatch
* Following process to ensure all items are accounted for and dispatched on time
* Actively reporting issues to supervisors to be acted on
* Using Manual Handling equipment
* Receipt and storage of inbound inventory
* Warehouse activities as required
Key skills and attributes
* Fork Lift licenced
* Proactive team player
* Able to follow instructions with attention to the detail
* Able to work successfully under pressure and to deadlines
* Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
* Numerate and literate
* Able to manage heavy lifting in line with our Manual Handling Guidelines
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous experience of Warehouse Management Systems
Beneficial experience (if applicable)
· Experience of working in a busy warehouse
· Experience of Goods in Quality Checks and Procedures
· Driving license would be beneficial
