West London NHS Trust is delighted to announce the availability of a full‑time substantive consultant liaison psychiatry post.
Based in West Middlesex University Hospital, the post offers an opportunity to work in a London teaching DGH.
The post-holder will join a settled, close‑knit, well‑led, PLAN‑accredited team with 2.8 whole‑time equivalent consultants.
We are looking for ambitious consultants with excellent clinical and leadership skills and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Assess and manage patients in the hospital in collaboration with the liaison service team manager and fellow consultants.
* Develop training for hospital teams and contribute to developing hospital systems to improve patient care.
* Build and maintain relationships with colleagues in the acute trust.
* Serve as a member of the trust‑wide liaison psychiatry senior management team, contributing to broader strategic developments and clinical governance.
* Supervise trainees across all grades as a clinical supervisor.
