What You’ll Be Doing
We are looking for experienced Cloud Engineers to join our team following continuous growth and success. Our people are resourceful, innovative and dedicated. We have a mix of generalists and specialists and recognise that this diversity contributes to our success.
What Background We Are Looking For
* Skilled in a range of AWS services and keen to keep up to date with the latest releases
* Experience using Infrastructure as Code, for example Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK
* Proficient in configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible
* Understanding of networking and how that translates to software defined networking in the cloud
* Experience with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, ECS or OpenShift
* Proficiency in scripting in at least one language (e.g. Python, Bash, Go)
* AWS certifications desirable but not essential; training and certification support available
What You Could Be Doing For Us
* Designing and building cloud‑native architectures
* Using Terraform or CDK to deploy resources
* Creating and managing infrastructure and design
* Liaising with key stakeholders, both internal and external
* Developing exemplar implementation patterns (e.g. providing a standard Puppet script that creates a single AWS server)
* Managing software configuration for projects, including source repositories
* Leveraging AWS security features and ensuring best practices with developers
* Leading teams or individuals (Senior Engineers)
