Job Description
Carolean Coaches is seeking 5 dedicated and professional Bus Drivers to join our team. This exciting opportunity involves covering five routes recently awarded by Transport for West Midlands (TfWM):
* 19: Walsall - Bloxwich
* 41: West Bromwich - Wednesbury
* 3 (Night): Merry Hill - West Bromwich
* 23: Wednesbury - Willenhall
* 224: Bilston - Sedgley
Key Responsibilities
* Operate buses on scheduled routes, ensuring timeliness and reliability.
* Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers.
* Assist passengers with boarding, luggage, and special needs.
* Perform routine safety checks on the vehicle before and after shifts.
* Collect fares, issue tickets, and handle cash accurately.
* Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company regulations.
* Report any incidents or accidents to dispatch and appropriate authorities promptly.
Requirements
* Valid Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) licence.
* Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
* Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
* Satisfactory DBS check (clean criminal record).
* At least 1 year of bus driving experience (required).
* Strong focus on safety, excellent driving skills, and customer service.
* Good communication skills with a polite, helpful attitude.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Contract Details
* Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed-term contract.
* Contract Length: 24 months.
* Expected Hours: 20 – 50 hours per week.
