Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive IT Technician to join a Further Education college in Loughborough on a 3-month temporary contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on IT support experience looking to gain or expand their skills within the education sector. The role involves travel, so a driving licence and access to transport is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff and students across multiple college sites
* Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, AV equipment, and network hardware
* Respond to and resolve technical queries and service tickets in a timely manner
* Support college systems and applications, ensuring minimal downtime
* Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an IT support or technician role (1st/2nd line)
* Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between campuses
* Friendly, professional attitude with a commitment to great service
