Job Description
* Manage the purchase ledger function within the finance department
* Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly
* Prepare monthly payment runs and ad-hoc payments when required
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
* Assist with month-end close processes and reporting
* Work closely with other finance team members and liaise with suppliers
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Administrator should have:
* Relevant and up to date experience raising and producing invoices
* Experience in a similar role, ideally within the not-for-profit sector
* Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
* Proficiency with accounting software
* A keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* An understanding of confidentiality and data protection issues
