Canford School seeks to appoint enthusiastic, intellectually curious and committed graduates to join our English, Mathematics and Humanities Departments from September 2026. Set in one of the most beautiful school campuses in the country, Canford is a thriving HMC boarding and day school of around 650 pupils aged 13:18. Graduate Teachers play a full part in school life while benefiting from a significantly reduced timetable, structured mentoring and internal teacher training.
Successful candidates will:
* Teach a reduced timetable within a lively and supportive department
* Receive internal training, mentoring and regular professional development
* Contribute to the pastoral life of the school, including tutoring and evening duties
* Support the coAEUR'curricular programme (sport, activities, societies, trips, music, drama)
* Embrace the opportunities and demands of a busy boarding environment
* Assist with lesson cover outside their department
These roles may suit current finalAEUR'year students or recent graduates in a relevant academic discipline. No teaching qualification is required; enthusiasm, adaptability, reliability and a willingness to get involved are essential.
