# Head of Supported Housing and Allocations**Head of Supported Housing & Allocations (RP0185) Salary up to £69,590 per annum 37 hours per week (hybrid) Permanent contract** This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Supported Housing, Housing Allocations and Housing Options, working with our partners and inhouse teams to help make Welwyn Hatfield a positive and healthy place to be. You will be responsible for a range of services from independent living, housing allocations, homelessness and rough sleeping. You will lead the development of strategies, action plans and policies, to secure housing provision for those most in need in our borough. We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative leader who has a degree or post graduate Housing qualification. You will have experience of supported housing, housing allocations or homelessness and rough sleeping, managing substantial budgets, people and programmes and is passionate about making a real difference to the people of Welwyn Hatfield. If you feel that you have the skills and experience to lead this area in this new role, we will welcome your application. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
