We are looking for a practical, hands‑on individual to join our workshop team assembling bespoke timber fire doors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong DIY skills, general woodwork experience, or a background as a handy‑person. If you can’t put a shelf up this isn’t for you! However you do not need to be a fully qualified joiner—just bring your enthusiasm, reliability, and attention to detail… training will be provided—so if you have the ability we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble bespoke timber fire doors to a high standard
* Fit hinges, ironmongery, and glazing to doors
* Follow written instructions and assembly guides accurately
* Check quality of work at every stage
* Maintain a tidy and safe workspace
About You
* Safety conscious, confident using hand and power tools
* Good general knowledge of woodwork or handy‑person tasks
* Able to follow written instructions and work independently
* Strong eye for detail and quality
* Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:15pm & Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
Pay
* £12.80 per hour
