Overview
We are seeking to appoint a skilful, dedicated, and enthusiastic part-time lecturer to join our hairdressing team. Whilst teaching experience is an advantage, we welcome applicants who hold a wealth of industry knowledge and skills to pass on to our students. You will be based at our Watford Campus with our excellent facilities.
You will be able to promote, support, and embed English and maths skills in the planning and delivery of all teaching.
Responsibilities
* Deliver hairdressing teaching and related theory and practical sessions as part of a part-time contract.
* Promote, support, and embed English and maths skills in the planning and delivery of all teaching.
* Collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute your ideas to the role.
* Engage in training and development activities to continually upskill.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Formal Hairdressing qualification to Level 3 and an Assessor Award.
* Barbering qualifications and experience will be an advantage.
* A teaching qualification is desirable; full training to obtain teacher training qualifications will be supported if you are not yet qualified.
* You will be based at the Watford Campus with access to on-site facilities.
* The contract is 30 hours per week over four days, which can include evening sessions.
