Position Overview:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for all tooling and warehouse equipment, as well as the housing and delivery coordination of these items. Additionally, the manager supports Field Leaders and Project Managers with tool/equipment requests and maintains good relationships with vendors for consumables and consignment items.
We seek individuals with a positive leadership style, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort with equipment/inventory control.
Location & Travel:
* Based in York, PA, with flexibility to work from other locations as needed.
* Some travel to other centers, offices, yard locations, and for training or team meetings, including occasional overnight stays.
* Additional travel to customer facilities may be required.
Responsibilities:
Tooling Responsibilities:
* Manage electrical, utility, and communication tools (excluding certain specialty communication equipment).
* Maintain and update tool management software.
* Track all tool transfers and locations via Vista.
* Provide annual reports on tool migration and loss.
* Analyze tool replacement and addition needs for budgeting.
* Respond to tool/equipment requests from Project Managers and field personnel, providing delivery estimates.
* Follow approval processes for tools and equipment.
Warehouse and Delivery Responsibilities:
* Schedule deliveries efficiently, adhering to deadlines.
* Manage warehouses to track and house tools, materials, and equipment.
* Oversee all deliveries and coordinate with drivers and warehouses.
* Supervise Warehouse Coordinators and staff, including temporary personnel.
* Work with drivers on safety issues related to logistics activities.
Work Request Coordinator Responsibilities:
* Handle Tool and Consumable Work Requests.
* Manage IT Work Requests.
Qualifications:
Required:
* Bachelor’s Degree in logistics or relevant field.
* At least 5 years of experience with tooling and materials in utility/electrical contracting.
* At least 5 years of progressive responsibility in tool and warehouse program management.
Other:
* Valid Driver’s License.
* Forklift certification.
* Ability to provide employment authorization documents as per I-9 requirements.
Preferred:
* Master’s Degree in Business or related field.
